ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಇತರೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿತ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಇಲಾಖೆಗಳ ಸಹಕಾರದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಾಲ ಹಾಗೂ ಕಿಶೋರ ಕಾರ್ಮಿಕ ಪದ್ಧತಿ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಬಲವಾದ ಜನಾಭಿಪ್ರಾಯ ರೂಪುಗೊಳ್ಳುವಂತೆ, ಧನಾತ್ಮಕ ಪರಿಣಾಮ ಬೀರುವ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆ ನಿವಾರಣೆಯಾಗುವಂತೆ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಆಯೋಜಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದು ಜಿಲ್ಲಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಕೊಪ್ಪಳ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಬಾಲಕಾರ್ಮಿಕ ಯೋಜನಾ ಸೊಸೈಟಿಯ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಡಾ. ಸುರೇಶ ಬಿ. ಇಟ್ನಾಳ ಅವರು ಸಂಬಂಧಪಟ್ಟ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಸೂಚನೆ ನೀಡಿದರು.
ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಇಲಾಖೆಗಳ ಸಹಕಾರದೊಂದಿಗೆ, ಅರ್ಥವತ್ತಾದ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಹಾಗೂ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹಮ್ಮಿಕೊಂಡು, ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಚುನಾಯಿತ ಜನಪ್ರತಿನಿಧಿಗಳು, ಕಾನೂನು ಸೇವೆಗಳ ಪ್ರಾಧಿಕಾರ, ಸರ್ಕಾರೇತರ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳು, ಸ್ವಸಹಾಯ ಸಂಘಗಳು, ಕಾರ್ಮಿಕ ಸಂಘಗಳು, ಉದ್ಯೋಗದಾತರ ಸಂಘಗಳು, ಮತ್ತು ಬಾಲಕಾರ್ಮಿಕ ಪದ್ಧತಿ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಆಂದೋಲನ ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಇತರೆ ಸಂಘ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಕರ್ತರುಗಳನ್ನು ಆಹ್ವಾನಿಸಿ, ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಾಲಕಾರ್ಮಿಕ ಹಾಗೂ ಕಿಶೋರ ಕಾರ್ಮಿಕ ಪದ್ಧತಿ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಬಲವಾದ ಜನಾಭಿಪ್ರಾಯ ರೂಪುಗೊಳ್ಳುವಂತೆ, ಋಣಾತ್ಮಾಕ ಪರಿಣಾಮ ಬೀರುವ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಯ ನಿವಾರಣೆಯಾಗುವಂತೆ ಮುಂದಿನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನು ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಶಿಷ್ಟಾಚಾರದನ್ವಯ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು.
ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಪ್ರತಿ ಗ್ರಾಮಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಆಯಾ ಗ್ರಾಮ ಪಂಚಾಯತಿ ವತಿಯಿಂದ ಜೂನ್ 12 ರಂದು ಬಾಲಕಾರ್ಮಿಕ ಹಾಗೂ ಕಿಶೋರ ಕಾರ್ಮಿಕ ವಿರೋಧಿ ಪದ್ಧತಿಯ ಕುರಿತು ಡಂಗೂರವನ್ನು ಸಾರಿಸಬೇಕು. ಪ್ರತಿ ಗ್ರಾಮ, ತಾಲೂಕು ಹಾಗೂ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಶಾಲಾ-ಕಾಲೇಜು ಎನ್.ಸಿ.ಸಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಎನ್.ಎಸ್.ಎಸ್ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಂದ ಜಾಥಾ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಆಯೋಜಿಸಬೇಕು. ಜಾಥಾ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಾಲ ಹಾಗೂ ಕಿಶೋರ ಕಾರ್ಮಿಕ ವಿರೊಧಿ ಪದ್ಧತಿ ಕುರಿತು ಘೋಷಣೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕೂಗಿಸುವುದರ ಮೂಲಕ ಅರಿವು ಮೂಡಿಸಬೇಕು.
ಬಾಲಕಾರ್ಮಿಕ ವಿರೋಧಿ ದಿನದ ಕುರಿತು ಪ್ರಾಥಮಿಕ, ಪ್ರೌಢಶಾಲಾ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ, ಕಾಲೇಜು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಬಂಧ, ಕಥಾ, ಭಾಷಣ, ಚರ್ಚಾ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆ, ಚಿತ್ರಕಲೆ, ರಸ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಮತ್ತು ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಂದ ನಾಟಕ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನಗಳನ್ನು ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಲು ಸಂಬಂಧಪಟ್ಟ ಇಲಾಖೆಗಳ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ಕ್ರಮವಹಿಸಬೇಕು.
ಇದಲ್ಲದೇ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯಾದ್ಯಂತ ಜೂನ್ 13 ರಿಂದ ಜೂ. 30ರ ವರೆಗೆ ಬಾಲ ಹಾಗೂ ಕಿಶೋರ ಕಾರ್ಮಿಕರ ರಕ್ಷಣಾ ಅಭಿಯಾನ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಆಯೋಜಿಸಬೇಕು. ಜೂ. 12 ರಂದು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಗ್ರಾಮ ಪಂಚಾಯತಿ, ಪುರಸಭೆ ಹಾಗೂ ನಗರಸಭೆ ವತಿಯಿಂದ ಕಸ ವಿಲೇವಾರಿ ವಾಹನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಉಚಿತವಾಗಿ ಬಾಲಕಾರ್ಮಿಕ ಹಾಗೂ ಕಿಶೋರ ಕಾರ್ಮಿಕ ವಿರೋಧಿ ಪದ್ಧತಿಯ ಕುರಿತು ಘೋಷಣೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕೂಗಿಸುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಅರಿವು ಮೂಡಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದು ಜಿಲ್ಲಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಸೂಚನೆ ನೀಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
The District Collector and the President of Koppal District Child Labor Project Society, Dr. Suresh B. Itnal, instructed the concerned officials to organize a program in the district to create a strong public opinion against child and adolescent labor in cooperation with all other relevant departments of the government, to have a positive impact and to eliminate social problems.
The International Labor Organization (ILO) declared June 12 as “World Child Labor Day” in 2002. Since then, all the member countries of the United Nations have been organizing World Day Against Child Labor on June 12 every year. In this context, steps should be taken to ensure that employees working in all government departments, corporations, boards, authorities, institutions, directorates, schools, colleges and offices across the state take an “oath” on 12th June 2026 stating that they will not seek work from child and juvenile laborers.
With the cooperation of all government departments, meaningful programs and activities should be organized, and elected representatives, legal services authorities, non-governmental organizations, self-help organizations, trade unions, employers’ associations, and all other organizations and social workers who are agitating against child labor should be invited to the program, and all further steps should be taken as per the protocol of the government to form a strong public opinion against child labor and juvenile labor in the district, to have a negative impact and to eliminate the social problem.
In every village of the district, the respective Gram Panchayats should organize a “Pramana Vachana” on 12th June A campaign should be launched against the system of child labor. A procession program should be organized by school-college NCC and NSS students in every village, taluk and district. Awareness should be created by shouting slogans about the system of child and juvenile labor in the procession program.
The officials of the concerned departments should take action to organize essays, stories, speeches, debate competitions, painting, quiz programs and drama performances by children for primary, high school children and college students on the Anti-Child Labor Day.
Apart from this, a campaign for the protection of child and juvenile labor should be organized across the district from June 13 to June 30. On June 12, all the Gram Panchayats, Municipalities and Municipalities should raise awareness by shouting slogans about the system of child and juvenile labor in garbage disposal vehicles free of charge.
