ಎಸ್ಐಆರ್ ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಚುನಾವಣಾ ಆಯೋಗದ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ನಿಲ್ಲೋಣ : ಸಿವಿಸಿ

ಕೊಪ್ಪಳ: ಚುನಾವಣಾ ಆಯೋಗದ ವಿಶೇಷ ಸಮಗ್ರ ಮತದಾರರ ಪಟ್ಟಿ ಪರಿಷ್ಕರಣೆ ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಾವೆಲ್ಲ ಆಯೋಗದ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಪೂರಕವಾಗಿ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಜೆಡಿಎಸ್ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಕೋರ್ ಕಮಿಟಿ ಸದಸ್ಯ ಸಿ ವಿ ಚಂದ್ರಶೇಖರ್ ಹೇಳಿದರು.

ಜಿಲ್ಲಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳ ಕಚೇರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸೋಮವಾರ ನಡೆದ ಬಿ ಎಲ್ ಎ (ಬೂತ್ ಲೆವೆಲ್ ಏಜೆಂಟ್) ಕಾರ್ಯಗಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರು ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು.

‘ಪರಿಷ್ಕೃತ ಮತದಾರ ಪಟ್ಟಿ   ದೋಷರಹಿತವಾಗಿರುವಂತೆ ನೋಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ರಾಜಕೀಯ ಪಕ್ಷಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಇದೆ. ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ನೇಮಕಗೊಂಡಿರುವ ಬಿಎಲ್ಎ – 2 ಅವರು  ಸರಕಾರದ ಬಿ ಎಲ್ ಓ ಅವರ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಸರಿಯಾಗಿ ಕೆಲಸ ನಿರ್ವಹಿಸಿ ಮತದಾರರ ಪಟ್ಟಿ ಸರಿಯಾಗಿ ಇರುವಂತೆ ನೋಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕಿದೆ. ಪಕ್ಷಾತೀತವಾಗಿ ಈ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು. ಮುಕ್ತ ಮತ್ತು ನ್ಯಾಯ ಸಮ್ಮತ ಚುನಾವಣೆ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಲು ಮತದಾರರ ಪಟ್ಟಿ ಪರಿಷ್ಕೃತಗೊಳ್ಳುವುದು ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಅಗತ್ಯ,’ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.

2002ರ ಮತದಾನ ಪಟ್ಟಿಯ ಆಧಾರದ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೆಲವೊಂದು ಬದಲಾವಣೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಅನರ್ಹ ಹಾಗೂ ನಿಧನ ಹೊಂದಿದವರ ಹೆಸರುಗಳನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಹಾಕಿ ಪಟ್ಟಿ ಸರಿಯಾಗಿ ಇರುವಂತೆ ನೋಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಕೆಲಸ ಚುನಾವಣಾ ಆಯೋಗ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಈ ವಿಷಯಕ್ಕೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಪಟ್ಟ ಹಾಗೆ ಜೆಡಿಎಸ್ ಪಕ್ಷ ಪ್ರಾಥಮಿಕ ಹಂತದ ಕೆಲಸಗಳನ್ನು ಪೂರೈಸಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾಡಳಿತದ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ನಿಕಟವಾಗಿ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಈ ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆ ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಗಿ ಪೂರ್ಣಗೊಳ್ಳಲು ನಮ್ಮ ಪಕ್ಷದ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ಸಹಕಾರ ಇರಲಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.

ಶಾಸಕ ರಾಘವೇಂದ್ರ ಹಿಟ್ನಾಳ್, ಸಂಸದ ರಾಜಶೇಖರ ಹಿಟ್ನಾಳ್ ರವರು,  ಜಿಲ್ಲಾಧಿಕಾರಿ ಡಾ. ಸುರೇಶ  ಇಟ್ನಾಳ, ಅಪರ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾಧಿಕಾರಿ ಸಿದ್ರಾಮೇಶ್ವರ, ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಮಟ್ಟದ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು, ವಿವಿಧ ಪಕ್ಷದ ಮುಖಂಡರು ಹಾಗೂ ಬಿ ಎಲ್ ಎ  ಗಳು ಹಾಜರಿದ್ದರು.

Koppal: JDS State Core Committee Member CV Chandrashekhar said that we should all work together with the Commission in the process of revising the special comprehensive voters’ list of the Election Commission.

He spoke at the BLA (Booth Level Agent) workshop held at the District Collector’s Office on Monday.

‘The responsibility of ensuring that the revised voters’ list is error-free lies with all political parties. The already appointed BLA-2 should work properly with the government’s BLO and ensure that the voters’ list is correct. This work should be done in a non-partisan manner. It is very important to revise the voters’ list to hold free and fair elections,’ he said.

Some changes are being made on the basis of the 2002 voters’ list. The Election Commission is working to remove the names of ineligible and deceased voters and ensure that the list is correct. The JDS party is working closely with the district administration in this regard, having completed the initial stage of work. He said that our party will provide full cooperation to complete this process successfully.

MLA Raghavendra Hitnal, MP Rajashekar Hitnal, District Magistrate Dr. Suresh Itnal, Additional District Magistrate Sidrameshwar, district level officials, various party leaders and BLAs were present.
