Chief Minister instructs to continue tender process of Siddaganga Mutt hostel
Bangalore, May 31-
Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has instructed the Public Works Department to continue the tender process for proposed construction of hostel building in the premises of Tumkur Siddaganga Mutt.
The pending works in the Public Works Department were temporarily halted for review. This included the construction of hostel in Siddaganga Mutt premises at an estimated cost of Rs.9.90 crore. The technical bid for this work was already opened.
The chief minister reviewed the request submitted by the department regarding the continuation of the tender process for this work in the interest of thousands of students who are studying in the mutt and instructed the public works department to consider it as a special case and continue the process.
