ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಮುಸ್ಲಿಂ ನಾಯಕರ ಉಚ್ಚಾಟನೆಗೆ ಆಕ್ರೋಶ: ಕ್ರಮ ಹಿಂಪಡೆಯಲು ಧರ್ಮಗುರುಗಳ ಆಗ್ರಹ

ಕೊಪ್ಪಳ: ದಾವಣಗೆರೆ ಉಪಚುನಾವಣೆಯ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಪಕ್ಷ ವಿರೋಧಿ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಯ ಆರೋಪ ಹೊರಿಸಿ ವಿಧಾನ ಪರಿಷತ್ ಸದಸ್ಯ ಅಬ್ದುಲ್ ಜಬ್ಬಾರ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿಯವರ ಆಪ್ತ ಸಲಹೆಗಾರ ನಸೀರ್ ಅಹ್ಮದ್ ಅವರನ್ನು ಪಕ್ಷದಿಂದ ಹೊರಹಾಕಿರುವ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಹೈಕಮಾಂಡ್ ಕ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ಮುಸ್ಲಿಂ ಧರ್ಮಗುರು ಮೌಲಾನ ಮುಸ್ತಫಾ ಕಮಾಲ್ ಪಾಷಾ ತೀವ್ರ ಅಸಮಾಧಾನ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಕೂಡಲೇ ಈ ಉಚ್ಚಾಟನಾ ಆದೇಶವನ್ನು ಹಿಂಪಡೆಯಬೇಕೆಂದು ಅವರು ಒತ್ತಾಯಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಮಂಗಳವಾರ ನಗರದ ಪತ್ರಿಕಾ ಭವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಮ್ಮಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದ ಸುದ್ದಿಗೋಷ್ಠಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಅವರು, ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಧೋರಣೆಯನ್ನು ಕಟುವಾಗಿ ಟೀಕಿಸಿದರು. ಕಳೆದ ವಿಧಾನಸಭಾ ಚುನಾವಣೆಯ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಲ್ಪಸಂಖ್ಯಾತರ ಶೇ. 4ರಷ್ಟು ಮೀಸಲಾತಿಯನ್ನು ಮರುಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸುವುದಾಗಿ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಭರವಸೆ ನೀಡಿತ್ತು. ಆದರೆ ಅಧಿಕಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದು ಇಷ್ಟು ದಿನಗಳಾದರೂ ಆ ಭರವಸೆ ಈಡೇರದೆ ‘ಅಡ್ಡಗೋಡೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ದೀಪ ಇಟ್ಟಂತೆ’ ಆಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಅವರು ಕಿಡಿಕಾರಿದರು.

ರಾಹುಲ್ ಗಾಂಧಿಯವರು ದೇಶಾದ್ಯಂತ ಸಂವಿಧಾನ ರಕ್ಷಣೆ ಮತ್ತು ಪಕ್ಷ ಸಂಘಟನೆಗಾಗಿ ಪಾದಯಾತ್ರೆ ನಡೆಸಿ ಶ್ರಮಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅವರ ಸಿದ್ಧಾಂತವನ್ನು ಮೆಚ್ಚಿ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಮುಸ್ಲಿಂ ಸಮುದಾಯವು ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಪಕ್ಷಕ್ಕೆ ಭರ್ಜರಿ ಬೆಂಬಲ ನೀಡಿದ್ದರಿಂದಲೇ ಇಂದು ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಅಧಿಕಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಬರಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂಬುದನ್ನು ಮರೆಯಬಾರದು ಎಂದು ಅವರು ನೆನಪಿಸಿದರು.

ಪಕ್ಷದಲ್ಲಿನ ತಾರತಮ್ಯದ ಕುರಿತು ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಮೌಲಾನಾ, ಈ ಹಿಂದೆ ಕೊಪ್ಪಳ ವಿಧಾನಸಭಾ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಕ್ಬಾಲ್ ಅನ್ಸಾರಿ ಅವರ ಸೋಲಿಗೆ ಸ್ವಪಕ್ಷದ ನಾಯಕರೇ ಕಾರಣ ಎಂಬ ಆರೋಪಗಳು ಕೇಳಿಬಂದಿದ್ದವು. ಈ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಕಾರ್ಯಕರ್ತರು ಬಹಿರಂಗವಾಗಿಯೇ ಅಸಮಾಧಾನ ಹೊರಹಾಕಿದ್ದರೂ ಸಹ ಅಂತಹ ನಾಯಕರ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಯಾವುದೇ ಕ್ರಮ ಕೈಗೊಂಡಿಲ್ಲ. ಆದರೆ ಈಗ ದಾವಣಗೆರೆ ಉಪಚುನಾವಣೆಯ ನೆಪದಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಸ್ಲಿಂ ನಾಯಕರನ್ನು ಗುರಿಯಾಗಿಸಿ ಹೊರಹಾಕಿರುವುದು ಎಷ್ಟು ಸರಿ ಎಂದು ಪ್ರಶ್ನಿಸಿದರು. ಮುಸ್ಲಿಮರು ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಪಕ್ಷದ ಪುಕ್ಕಟ್ಟೆ ಕಾರ್ಯಕರ್ತರಲ್ಲ, ಅವರನ್ನು ಕೇವಲ ಮತಬ್ಯಾಂಕ್ ಆಗಿ ಬಳಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಎಚ್ಚರಿಸಿದ ಅವರು, ಕೂಡಲೇ ಉಚ್ಚಾಟಿತ ನಾಯಕರನ್ನು ಪಕ್ಷಕ್ಕೆ ವಾಪಸ್ ಪಡೆಯದಿದ್ದರೆ ಮುಂದಿನ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಪಕ್ಷಕ್ಕೆ ತಕ್ಕ ಪಾಠ ಕಲಿಸಬೇಕಾಗುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂದು ಎಚ್ಚರಿಕೆ ನೀಡಿದರು.

ಮುಸ್ಲಿಂ ಸಮುದಾಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ನಾಯಕತ್ವದ ಕೊರತೆ ಇದ್ದು, ಇರುವ ನಾಯಕರನ್ನು ಪಕ್ಷದಿಂದ ಹೊರಹಾಕುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಸಮುದಾಯವನ್ನು ಕಡೆಗಣಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಕೂಡಲೇ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ನಾಯಕರನ್ನು ಪುನಃ ಪಕ್ಷಕ್ಕೆ ಸೇರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು. ಶೇ. 4ರಷ್ಟು ಮೀಸಲಾತಿ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಚುನಾವಣಾ ಪೂರ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ನೀಡಿದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಭರವಸೆಗಳನ್ನು ಈಡೇರಿಸುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಮುಸ್ಲಿಂ ಸಮುದಾಯದ ವಿಶ್ವಾಸವನ್ನು ಉಳಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಅವರು ಆಗ್ರಹಿಸಿದರು.

ಪತ್ರಿಕಾಗೋಷ್ಠಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮೌಲಾನಾ ಸೈಯದ್ ಖಾಜಾ ಪಾಷಾ ತಾವರಗೇರಾ, ಖಾಜಿ ಗುಲಾಮ್ ಹುಸೇನ್ ನೂರಿ, ಮೌಲಾನಾ ಜಮೀರ್ ಅಹಮದ್ ಕೊಪ್ಪಳ ಹಾಗೂ ಸೈಯದ್ ಸಾಧಿಕ್ ಸಾಬ್ ಕಾರಟಗಿ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಹಲವರು ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು.

Koppal: Muslim cleric Maulana Mustafa Kamal Pasha has expressed deep dissatisfaction over the Congress high command’s action in expelling Legislative Council member Abdul Jabbar and Chief Minister’s close advisor Nasir Ahmed from the party on charges of anti-party activities during the Davangere by-election. He has demanded that the expulsion order be withdrawn immediately.

Speaking at a press conference held at the city’s Patrika Bhawan on Tuesday, he harshly criticized the Congress government’s stance. During the last assembly elections, the Congress had promised to restore 4% reservation for minorities. But even after coming to power for so many days, that promise has not been fulfilled, he said, adding that it is like ‘lighting a lamp on a broken wall’.

Rahul Gandhi is working hard to protect the Constitution and organize the party by conducting padayatras across the country. He reminded that it should not be forgotten that the Congress government in the state was able to come to power today only because the Muslim community of the state appreciated his ideology and gave overwhelming support to the Congress party.

Speaking about discrimination in the party, Maulana said that earlier there were allegations that the leaders of his own party were responsible for the defeat of Iqbal Ansari in the Koppal assembly constituency. Even though the workers openly expressed their dissatisfaction about this, no action was taken against such leaders. But now, he questioned how right it was to target and expel Muslim leaders on the pretext of the Davangere by-election. He warned that Muslims are not the Congress party’s puppet workers, they cannot be used as a vote bank. He warned that if the expelled leaders are not immediately reinstated in the party, the Congress party will have to teach a befitting lesson in the coming days.

There is already a lack of leadership in the Muslim community, and the community is being neglected by expelling the existing leaders from the party. Therefore, all the leaders should be reinstated in the party immediately. He demanded that the trust of the Muslim community be maintained by fulfilling all the promises made before the elections, including 4 percent reservation.

Maulana Syed Khaja Pasha Tavaragera, Qazi Ghulam Hussain Noori, Maulana Zamir Ahmed Koppal and Syed Sadiq Saab Karatagi were present at the press conference.
