2026ರ ಶ್ರೀ ಹುಲಿಗೆಮ್ಮದೇವಿ ಜಾತ್ರಾ ಮಹೋತ್ಸವದ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೀ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಆಗಮಿಸುವ ಭಕ್ತಾದಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಅಗತ್ಯ ಮೂಲಭೂತ ಸೌಕರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಒದಗಿಸುವ ಕುರಿತು ಶ್ರೀ ಹುಲಿಗೆಮ್ಮ ದೇವಿ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಪ್ರಾಧಿಕಾರದ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿಗಳ ಕಛೇರಿ ಸಭಾಂಗಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಏಪ್ರಿಲ್ 28ರಂದು ಕರೆದ ಪತ್ರಿಕಾಗೋಷ್ಠಿಯನ್ನುದ್ದೇಶಿಸಿ ಅವರು ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು.
ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸರ್ಕಾರವು ಶ್ರೀ ಹುಲಿಗೆಮ್ಮ ದೇವಿ ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನದ ಸಮಗ್ರ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಿಂದ ಶ್ರೀ ಹುಲಿಗೆಮ್ಮ ದೇವಿ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಪ್ರಾಧಿಕಾರ ರಚನೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದು, ಇದರಿಂದ ಶ್ರೀ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಲವಾರು ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಕಾಮಗಾರಿಗಳಾಗುತ್ತಿವೆ. ಕಳೆದ ವರ್ಷದಂತೆ ಈ ಬಾರಿಯೂ ಭಕ್ತಾದಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಸಕಲ ಸೌಲಭ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಕಲ್ಪಿಸಿ ಅದ್ದೂರಿಯಾಗಿ ಜಾತ್ರಾ ಮಹೋತ್ಸವವನ್ನು ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಲು ಉದ್ದೇಶಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. 2026ನೇ ಸಾಲಿನ ಜಾತ್ರಾ ಮಹೋತ್ಸವವು ಮೇ 2 ರಿಂದ ಮೇ 14ರವರೆಗೆ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಧಾರ್ಮಿಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳು ಜರುಗಲಿವೆ ಮತ್ತು ಜಾತ್ರಾ ಮಹೋತ್ಸವವು ಸುಮಾರು ಒಂದು ತಿಂಗಳ ಕಾಲ ಜರುಗಲಿದ್ದು, ಈ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದಾದ್ಯಂತ ಹಾಗೂ ಆಂಧ್ರ, ಮಹಾರಾಷ್ಟç ಹಾಗೂ ಇನ್ನಿತರೆ ಪ್ರದೇಶಗಳಿಂದ ಲಕ್ಷಾಂತರ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಭಕ್ತಾದಿಗಳು ಶ್ರೀ ದೇವಿಯವರ ದರ್ಶನವನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯಲು ಆಗಮಿಸಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದರು.
ಕಳೆದ ವರ್ಷ ಜಾತ್ರೆಗೆ ಬರುವವರ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯನ್ನು ಲೆಕ್ಕಿಸಲು ಮಾಬ್ ಕೌಂಟಿAಗ್ ಮಷಿನ್ ಅಳವಡಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತು. ಜಾತ್ರಾ ಅವಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸುಮಾರು 28 ಲಕ್ಷ ಜನರು ಅಮ್ಮನ ದರ್ಶನ ಪಡೆದಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಈ ಬಾರಿ 30 ಲಕ್ಷಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯ ಭಕ್ತಾದಿಗಳು ಆಗಮಿಸುವ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆಯಿದೆ. ಹುಲಗಿ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಬರುವಂತ ಭಕ್ತಾದಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಶುದ್ಧ ಕುಡಿಯುವ ನೀರಿನ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ, ಅರವಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ, 100 ತಾತ್ಕಾಲಿಕ ಶೌಚಾಲಯ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ, ವಿಶೇಷ ದರ್ಶನ, ಸರ್ವರಿಗೂ ದರ್ಶನ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ, ವಾಹನಗಳ ಪಾರ್ಕಿಂಗ್ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ, ತುಂಗಭದ್ರ ಶಾಲೆಯಿಂದ ಮತ್ತು ಕೋರಮಂಡಲ್ ಫ್ಯಾಕ್ಟರಿಯಿಂದ ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನದ ಹಿಂಭಾಗದವರೆಗೆ ಭಕ್ತರು ಬರಲು ಉಚಿತ ಸಾರಿಗೆ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಯನ್ನು ಮಾಡಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಮೇ 2 ರಿಂದ ಒಂದು ತಿಂಗಳುಗಳ ಕಾಲ ಮಹಾ ದಾಸೋಹ ಹಮ್ಮಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದು, ಭಕ್ತಾದಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಸಾದ ವಿತರಣೆಯನ್ನು ಅಚ್ಚುಕಟ್ಟಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಲಾಗುವುದು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
ತಾತ್ಕಾಲಿಕ ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಶಿಬಿರಗಳನ್ನು ತೆರೆದು ಭಕ್ತಾಧಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ನೀಡುವ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಯನ್ನು ಸಹ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿದ್ದು, 2 ಆಂಬ್ಯೂಲೆನ್ಸ್ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ ಹಾಗೂ ತುರ್ತು ಅವಘಡಗಳ ನಿಯಂತ್ರಣಕ್ಕೆ ಅಗ್ನಿ ಶಾಮಕ ವಾಹನವನ್ನು ಕಾಯ್ದಿರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗುವುದು. ಹೆಚ್ಚುವರಿ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿಗಳನ್ನು ನಿಯೋಜಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದೋಬಸ್ತ್ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ ಕಲ್ಪಿಸಲಾಗುವುದು, ಮತ್ತು ಸೂಕ್ಷö್ಮ ಪ್ರದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿಸಿ ಕ್ಯಾಮೆರಾಗಳನ್ನು ಅಳವಡಿಸಲು ಕ್ರಮ ಅನುಸರಿಸಲಾಗುವುದು. ಕುಡಿಯುವ ನೀರಿನ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಯನ್ನು ಕಲ್ಪಿಸಲು ಯೋಜನೆ ರೂಪಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. 7 ಎಂ.ಎಲ್.ಡಿ ನೀರನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯಲು ನೀರಾವರಿ ಇಲಾಖೆಗೆ ಮಂಜೂರಾತಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಸ್ತಾವನೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದರು.
ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಭಕ್ತಾಧಿಗಳು ಜಾತ್ರಾ ಮಹೋತ್ಸವದಲ್ಲಿ, ಮಹಾ ದಾಸೋಹ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದು ಮತ್ತು ಮಹಾದಾಸೋಹ, ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಕಾಮಗಾರಿ ಕೆಲಸಕ್ಕೆ ಉದಾರವಾಗಿ ದೇಣಿಗೆಯನ್ನು ನೀಡಿ ಸಹಕರಿಸುವಂತೆ ಸಂಸದರು ಇದೇ ವೇಳೆ ಮನವಿ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡರು.
ವಿವಿಧ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಕಾಮಗಾರಿಗಳು: ಶ್ರೀ ಹುಲಿಗೆಮ್ಮ ದೇವಿ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಪ್ರಾಧಿಕಾರದ ವತಿಯಿಂದ ವಿವಿಧ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಕಾಮಗಾರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಕೈಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗಿದ್ದು, ರೂ. 985 ಲಕ್ಷಗಳ ಅಂದಾಜು ಮೊತ್ತದ ಅಮ್ಮಾ ನಿಲಯ ವಸತಿ ಸಂಕೀರ್ಣ 2 & 3 ನೇ ಮಹಡಿ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣ ಕಾಮಗಾರಿಗೆ ರೂ. 492.50 ಲಕ್ಷ ಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರಾಧಿಕಾರದಿಂದ ಒದಗಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ರೂ. 999.50 ಲಕ್ಷಗಳ ಅಂದಾಜು ಮೊತ್ತದಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೀ ಹುಲಿಗೆಮ್ಮ ದೇವಿ ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನದ ಹಾಲಿ ಕಟ್ಟಡವನ್ನು ತೆರವುಗೊಳಿಸಿ ನೂತನ ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣ ಕಾಮಗಾರಿಯನ್ನು ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದು, ರೂ. 250 ಲಕ್ಷ ಗಳನ್ನು ಶ್ರೀ ಹುಲಿಗೆಮ್ಮ ದೇವಿ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಪ್ರಾಧಿಕಾರದ ವತಿಯಿಂದ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿದೆ.
ಅದೇ ರೀತಿ ಮಹಾನಕ್ಷೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸೂಚಿಸಿರುವಂತೆ ವಿವಿಧ 04 ಕಡೆ ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನದ ಭಕ್ತಾಧಿಗಳ ಅನುಕೂಲಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಪುರುಷ ಮತ್ತು ಮಹಿಳೆಯರಿಗೆ ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇಕವಾಗಿ ಶೌಚಾಲಯ ಮತ್ತು ಸ್ನಾನ ಗೃಹ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣ ಕಾಮಗಾರಿಗಳನ್ನು ರೂ. 340 ಲಕ್ಷಗಳ ಅಂದಾಜು ಮೊತ್ತದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗಿದ್ದು, ರೂ. 170 ಲಕ್ಷಗಳನ್ನು ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಪ್ರಾಧಿಕಾರದಿಂದ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ಮಾಡಿದೆ.
ಅಲ್ಲದೇ ಮಹಾ ನಕ್ಷೆಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ರೂ. 1,780 ಲಕ್ಷ ಅಂದಾಜು ಮೊತ್ತದ ಕುಡಿಯುವ ನೀರು ಸರಬರಾಜು ಒಳಚರಂಡಿ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣ ಕಾಮಗಾರಿ ಮತ್ತು ರೂ. 2,950 ಲಕ್ಷ ಅಂದಾಜು ಮೊತ್ತದ ನೀರು ಸರಬರಾಜು ಒಳಚರಂಡಿ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣ ಕಾಮಗಾರಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಸಂಬAಧಿಸಿದAತೆ ಡಿಪಿಆರ್ ಯೋಜನೆ ಪ್ರಾಧಿಕಾರದ ಪರಿಶೀಲನೆಯಲ್ಲಿರುತ್ತದೆ. ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದ ಎರಡು ಕಡೆ ಸುಲಭ ಶೌಚಾಲಯ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣ ಕಾಮಗಾರಿಯನ್ನು ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭಿಸಲಾಗಿರುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂದು ಸಂಸದರು ಮಾಹಿತಿ ನೀಡಿದರು.
ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೀ ಹುಲಿಗೆಮ್ಮ ದೇವಿ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಪ್ರಾಧಿಕಾರದ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ ಎಂ.ಹೆಚ್.ಪ್ರಕಾಶ್ರಾವ್, ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ವಾರ್ತಾಧಿಕಾರಿ ಗವಿಸಿದ್ದಪ್ಪ ಹೊಸಮನಿ, ಮುಖಂಡರಾದ ಪಾಲಾಕ್ಷಪ್ಪ ಗುಂಗಾಡಿ, ಈರಣ್ಣ ಈಳಿಗೇರ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಶ್ರೀ ಹುಲಿಗೆಮ್ಮ ದೇವಿ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಪ್ರಾಧಿಕಾರದ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಇತರರು ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು.
All set for grand Sri Huligemmadevi Jatra Mahotsava
Koppal April 28 ): The Sri Huligemma Devi Kshetra Development Authority is celebrating the 2026 annual Jatra Mahotsava with great pomp and show, and Koppal MP K. Rajashekar Basabaraja Hitnal said that the devotees visiting the Sri Kshetra will be provided with well-equipped infrastructure facilities.
He was addressing a press conference called on April 28 at the Secretariat Hall of the Sri Huligemma Devi Kshetra Development Authority regarding the provision of necessary infrastructure facilities to the devotees visiting the Sri Kshetra in the backdrop of the 2026 Sri Huligemmadevi Jatra Mahotsava.
The state government has formed the Sri Huligemma Devi Kshetra Development Authority with a view to the comprehensive development of the Sri Huligemma Devi temple, due to which several development works are being carried out in the Sri Kshetra. Like last year, this time too, it is planned to organize a grand Jatra Mahotsav by providing all the facilities to the devotees. The 2026 Jatra Mahotsav will be held from May 2 to May 14 with major religious programs and the Jatra Mahotsav will be held for about a month, during which lakhs of devotees from all over Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra and other areas will come to have darshan of Sri Devi, he said. Last year, a mob counting machine was installed to count the number of people coming to the fair. About 28 lakh people had darshan of Amma during the Jatra period. This time, more than 30 lakh devotees are expected to come. Clean drinking water system, Aravattige system, 100 temporary toilet system, special darshan, darshan system for all, vehicle parking system, free transport system for devotees coming to the temple from Tungabhadra School and Coromandel Factory to the back of the temple are being made. Apart from this, a Maha Dasoha is being organized for a month from May 2, and the distribution of prasad to the devotees will be done neatly, he said.
Temporary medical camps have also been opened to provide treatment to devotees, 2 ambulances and a fire engine will be kept for emergency management. Additional personnel will be deployed to provide security, and steps will be taken to install CCTV cameras in sensitive areas. A plan has been drawn up to provide drinking water system. He said that a proposal has been submitted to the Irrigation Department for sanction to obtain 7 MLD water.
The MP appealed to the devotees to participate in the Jatra Mahotsava, Maha Dasoha program in large numbers and to cooperate in the Maha Dasoha and development work by donating generously.
Various development works: Various development works have been undertaken by the Sri Huligemma Devi Kshetra Development Authority, and Rs. 492.50 lakhs have been provided by the authority for the construction of the 2nd & 3rd floor of the Amma Nilaya Residential Complex with an estimated cost of Rs. 985 lakhs. The existing building of the Sri Huligemma Devi Temple is being cleared and a new temple is being constructed at an estimated cost of Rs. 999.50 lakhs, and Rs. 250 lakhs have been released by the Sri Huligemma Devi Kshetra Development Authority.
Similarly, as indicated in the master plan, separate toilet and bath construction works for men and women have been carried out at various 04 locations for the convenience of the temple devotees at a cost of Rs. 340 lakhs has been undertaken, of which Rs. 170 lakhs has been released by the Area Development Authority.
Also, according to the master plan, the drinking water supply and drainage construction work estimated at Rs. 1,780 lakhs and the water supply and drainage construction work estimated at Rs. 2,950 lakhs are under the scrutiny of the DPR Planning Authority. The MP informed that the construction of easy toilets on both sides of the area has already 
been started.
On this occasion, Sri Huligemma Devi Area Development Authority Secretary M.H. Prakash Rao, District Information Officer Gavisiddappa Hosamani, leaders Palakshappa Gungadi, Iranna Eligera, staff of Sri Huligemma Devi Area Development Authority and others were present.
