ಕೊಪ್ಪಳ : ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ನಾಯಕ ಬಸವಣ್ಣನವರ ಜಯಂತ್ಯುತ್ಸವವು ಕೊಪ್ಪಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಇದೇ ದಿ  ೨೦-೦೪-೨೦೨೬, ಸೋಮವಾರ ಜರುಗಲಿದೆ. ಮುಂಜಾನೆ ೯ ಗಂಟೆಗೆ ಬಸವೇಶ್ವರ ವೃತ್ತದಲ್ಲಿ ಷಟಸ್ಥಲ ಧ್ವಜಾರೋಹಣ ಮತ್ತು ಬಸವಣ್ಣನವರ ಪುತ್ಥಳಿಗೆ ಪೂಜೆ ನೆರವೇರಲಿದೆ. ಸಂಜೆ ೪ ಗಂಟೆಗೆ ಕೋಟೆ ರಸ್ತೆಯ ಮಹೇಶ್ವರ ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನದಿಂದ – ಶಾರದಾ ಚಿತ್ರಮಂದಿರ ಮಾರ್ಗವಾಗಿ ಶ್ರೀ ಗವಿಮಠದ ಆವರಣದವರೆಗೆ ಬಸವೇಶ್ವರರ ಭಾವಚಿತ್ರ ಮೆರವಣಿಗೆ ನಡೆಯಲಿದೆ. ಮೆರವಣಿಗೆ ನಂತರ ಸಂಜೆ ೬.೦೦ ಗಂಟೆಗೆ ಶ್ರೀ ಗವಿಮಠದ ಆವರಣದಲ್ಲಿ ‘ಬಸವಗೋಷ್ಠಿ’ ನೆರವೇರಲಿದೆ. ಶ್ರೀ ಗವಿಸಿದ್ಧೇಶ್ವರ ಮಹಾಸ್ವಾಮಿಗಳು, ಸಂಸ್ಥಾನ ಶ್ರೀ ಗವಿಮಠ ಇವರು ದಿವ್ಯ ಸಾನಿಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಯಭಾಗ ತಾಲೂಕಿನ ಹಾರೋಗೇರಿಯ ಹಿರಿಯ ಸಾಹಿತಿಗಳು, ಬಸವ ಚಿಂತಕರೂ ಆದ ಡಾ. ವಿ.ಎಸ್. ಮಾಳಿ ಮತ್ತು ಬೆಳಗಾವಿ ಗ್ರಾಮೀಣ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರಸಮನ್ವಯಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳಾದ ಡಾ. ದಾನಮ್ಮ ಝಳಕಿ ಇವರು ಬಸವ ಚಿಂತನೆ ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತ ಪಡಿಸುವರು.

 ಇದೇ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾಯಕ-ಸೇವೆ-ಸಾಧನೆಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ ಸಮಾಜಕ್ಕೆ ಮಾದರಿಯಾದ ಮೂವರು ಮಹನೀಯರಿಗೆ ‘ಬಸವ ಕಾರುಣ್ಯ’ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ ನೀಡಿ ಗೌರವಿಸಲಾಗವುದು.

ಬಸವ ಜಯಂತ್ಯುತ್ಸವ ಸಮಿತಿಯ ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಆಯೋಜನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೊಪ್ಪಳ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾಡಳಿತ, ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಪಂಚಾಯಿತಿ, ಕನ್ನಡ ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿ ಇಲಾಖೆ ಮತ್ತು ನಗರಸಭೆಯ ಸಹಯೋಗವಿದೆ. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ನಂತರ ಪ್ರಸಾದದ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ ಇರುತ್ತದೆ. ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಸವಾಭಿಮಾನಿಗಳು ಆಗಮಿಸಿ, ಬಸವ ಜಯಂತ್ಯುತ್ಸವವನ್ನು ಯಶಸ್ವಿಗೊಳಿಸಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಬಸವ ಜಯಂತ್ಯುತ್ಸವ ಸಮಿತಿಯ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಬಸವರಾಜ ಬಳ್ಳೊಳ್ಳಿ ಪತ್ರಿಕಾ ಪ್ರಕಟಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

Koppal: The birth anniversary of Karnataka cultural leader Basavanna will be celebrated in Koppal on Monday, 20-04-2026. At 9 am, the six-pointed flag hoisting ceremony and worship of Basavanna’s statue will be held at Basaveshwara Circle. At 4 pm, a portrait procession of Basaveshwara will be held from Maheshwara Temple on Kote Road – via Sharada Cinema to the premises of Sri Gavi Math. After the procession, a ‘Basavagosti’ will be held at the premises of Sri Gavi Math at 6.00 pm. Sri Gavisiddheshwara Mahaswamy, Sansthan Sri Gavi Math, in the divine presence of senior writers of Harogeri in Rayabhaga Taluk, Basava thinkers Dr. V.S. Mali and Belgaum Rural Area Coordinator Dr. Danamma Jhalaki will present Basava’s thoughts.

On this occasion, three dignitaries who have become role models for the society through their activities, services and achievements will be honored by being given the ‘Basava Karunya’ award.

This program of the Basava Jayantyutsava Committee is being organized in collaboration with the Koppal District Administration, Zilla Panchayat, Kannada and Culture Department and the Municipal Council. Prasad will be served after the program. Basava devotees should come to this program in large numbers and make the Basava Jayantyutsava a success, Basavaraj Ballolli, President of the Basava Jayantyutsava Committee, said in a press release.
