ಕೊಪ್ಪಳ0: ತಾಲೂಕಿನ ಐದುಮುಖ ಬಸಾಪುರ ಗ್ರಾಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಗುರುವಾರ ಶ್ರೀ ಸಿದ್ದೇಶ್ವರ ಜಾತ್ರಾ ಮಹೋತ್ಸವ ವಿಜೃಂಭಣೆಯಿಂದ ನಡೆಯಿತು.

ವಿಶೇಷವಾಗಿ ಮಹಿಳೆಯರು ಕುಂಭ ಮೆರವಣಿಗೆ, ಗೊಂಬೆ ಕುಣಿತ, ನಂದಿ ಕೋಲು, ಸುಮಾಳ ಕುಣಿತ ಭಾಜ ಭಜಂತ್ರಿ ಮೆರವಣಿಗೆಗೆ ಕಳತಂದಿತು.

ಪ್ರತಿ ವರ್ಷದಂತೆ ಈ ವರ್ಷವೂ ಸಾಮೂಹಿಕ ವಿವಾಹ ಜರುಗಿತು, ಮೂರು ಜೋಡಿ ನವದಂಪತಿಗಳು ನವ ಜೀವನಕ್ಕೆ ಕಾಲಿಟ್ಟರು,
ಮಧ್ಯಾಹ್ನ ಅನ್ನಸಂತರ್ಪಣೆ ನಡೆಯಿತು.

ಸಂಜೆ ಶ್ರೀ ಸಿದ್ದೇಶ್ವರ ಲಘು ರಥೋತ್ಸವ ಸಾವಿರಾರು ಭಕ್ತ ಸಮೂಹ ಮಧ್ಯೆ ವಿಜೃಂಭಣೆಯಿಂದ ನೆರವೇರಿತು.
ವೇದಿಕೆ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಜ್ಯೋತಿ ಬೆಳಗಿಸುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಿದರು.

ಈ ಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೋಮು ಸೌಹಾರ್ದತೆ ಒಂದು ಕುಟುಂಬವಾಗಿದೆ, ಜಾತ್ರೆಗಳು ನಮ್ಮ ಸಂಬಂಧ ಗಟ್ಟಿ ಮಾಡಲು ಬರುತ್ತವೆ,ದುಡಿದ ಹಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ಸಮಾಜಕ್ಕೆ ಖರ್ಚು ಮಾಡಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಮುಖಂಡ ಕೆ ಎಂ ಸೈಯದ್ ಹೇಳಿದರು.

ಜಾತ್ರೆ ಹಿರಿಯರು ಹಾಕಿಕೊಟ್ಟಂತ ದಾರಿ ಇದು, ಧಾರ್ಮಿಕತೆ ನಮ್ಮ ಜೀವನ ಭಾಗದ ಒಂದು ಅಂಗ, ಬಡವರು ವಿವಾಹ ಮಾಡುಲು ಲಕ್ಷಾಂತರ ರೂಪಾಯಿ ಖರ್ಚು ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ ಆದರೆ ಇಂತ ಧಾರ್ಮಿಕ ಜಾತ್ರೆಗಳಿಂದ ದುಂದು ವೆಚ್ಚ ಕಡಿಮೆಯಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಡಾ.ಬಸವರಾಜ ಕ್ಯಾವಟರ್ ಅಭಿಪ್ರಾಯ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದರು

In the evening, Sri Siddeshwara Laghu Rathotsava was held with great pomp amidst a crowd of thousands of devotees.

The stage program was inaugurated by lighting the lamp.

In this part, communal harmony is a family, fairs come to strengthen our relationship, we should spend some of the money we earn on society, said Congress leader KM Syed.

Fairs are a way laid out by elders, religion is a part of our life, poor people spend lakhs of rupees on marriage, but such religious fairs are reducing waste, said Dr. Basavaraj Cavatar.
