ಕೊಪ್ಪಳ: ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಫೋಟೋಗ್ರಾಫಿಕ್ ಕ್ಲಬ್ ಆಯೋಜಿಸಿದ್ದ ‘ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ಜಾತ್ರೆ ಮತ್ತು ಉತ್ಸವಗಳು’ ಕುರಿತ ಛಾಯಾಚಿತ್ರ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೊಪ್ಪಳದ ಛಾಯಾಗ್ರಹಕ ಭರತ್ ಕಂದಕೂರ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಬಹುಮಾನ ಲಭಿಸಿದೆ.
ದೊಡ್ಡಬಳ್ಳಾಪುರದ ಸುಧೀರ್ ಭಜನೆ ಹಟ್ಟಿ ಅವರ ಕೊಪ್ಪಳದ ಗವಿಸಿದ್ದೇಶ್ವರ ಜಾತ್ರೆ ಚಿತ್ರ (ಪ್ರಥಮ ಸ್ಥಾನ), ದೊಡ್ಡಬಳ್ಳಾಪುರದ ಬಿ.ಎನ್.ಉಮಾಶಂಕರ್ ಅವರ ಗೋಕಾಕದ ಭಂಡಾರ ಜಾತ್ರೆ ಚಿತ್ರ (ದ್ವಿತೀಯ ಸ್ಥಾನ), ‘ಪ್ರಜಾವಾಣಿ’ಯ ಕೊಪ್ಪಳ ಛಾಯಾಗ್ರಾಹಕ ಭರತ್ ಕಂದಕೂರ ಅವರ ಅಂಜನಾದ್ರಿ ಬೆಟ್ಟದ ಹನುಮ ಮಾಲೆ ಚಿತ್ರ (ತೃತೀಯ ಸ್ಥಾನ) ಪಡೆದಿವೆ.
Award for Bharat Kandakura
Koppala: Koppal photographer Bharat Kandakura has won a prize in the photography competition on ‘Festivals and Celebrations of Karnataka’ organized by the Bangalore Photographic Club.
Sudhir Bhajane Hatti of Doddaballapur’s photo of Koppal’s Gavisiddeshwara Fair (first place), B.N. Umashankar of Doddaballapur’s photo of Gokaka’s Bhandara Fair (second place), and ‘Prajavani’ Koppal photographer Bharat Kandakura’s photo of Anjanadri Betta Hanuma Mala (third place) have won.
The theme for next year’s photography competition has been chosen as ‘Festivals and Celebrations of Karnataka’, and photographers can participate, said club president T. Kempanna. The award consists of cash and a trophy and will be presented at a function to be held in Bengaluru in the second week of April.
