ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಲೋಕಸೇವಾ ಆಯೋಗದ ಹಂಗಾಮಿ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಡಾ. ಬಿ. ಪ್ರಭುದೇವ್ ಅವರ ಪರಿಚಯ –

ಡಾ. ಬಿ. ಪ್ರಭುದೇವ್ ಅವರು ಮಂಡ್ಯ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆ, ಶ್ರೀರಂಗಪಟ್ಟಣ ತಾಲೂಕಿನ ನೆಲಮನೆ ಗ್ರಾಮದಲ್ಲಿ ದಿ. ಬಸವೇಗೌಡ ಮತ್ತು ದಿ. ಕೆಂಪಮ್ಮ ದಂಪತಿಗಳ ಪುತ್ರರಾಗಿ ಜನಿಸಿದ್ದು , ಪತ್ನಿ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಉಷಾ ಅಮೇರಿಕಾದ ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಿತ ಕಂಪೆನಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಉದ್ಯೋಗಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದರು. ಇವರ ಪುತ್ರ ಪ್ರದ್ಯುಮ್ನ ಅಮೇರಿಕಾದ ಅಲಾಸ್ಕಾ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಕೆಚಿಗನ್ ನ ಆಟಾರ್ನಿ ಯಾಗಿ ಕರ್ತವ್ಯ ನಿರ್ವಹಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಡಾ ಪ್ರಭುದೇವ್ ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಹೈಸ್ಕೂಲ್ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣವನ್ನು ಮೈಸೂರಿನ ಮರಿಮಲ್ಲಪ್ಪ ಹೈಸ್ಕೂಲ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ, ಪೂರೈಸಿದ್ದು, ಮಂಡ್ಯ ಪಿ. ಇ. ಎಸ್ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿ.ಇ ಮೆಕ್ಯಾನಿಕಲ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಮೈಸೂರು ವಿ ವಿ ಯಿಂದ ಎಮ್. ಬಿ. ಎ ಪದವಿ ಹಾಗೂ ವಿ ಟಿ ಯು ವಿವಿ ಯಿಂದ ಡಾಕ್ಟರೇಟ್ ಪದವಿ ಪಡೆದಿರುತ್ತಾರೆ.
ತಮ್ಮ ವೃತ್ತಿಜೀವನವನ್ನು ಅಮೇರಿಕಾದ ದೇಟ್ರಾಯಿಟ್ ನ ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಿತ ಫೋರ್ಡ್ ಕಂಪನಿಯಿಂದ ಆರಂಭಿಸಿ, ಅಲ್ಲಿ 10 ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಸೇವಾನುಭವದ ಮೇಲೆ ಉನ್ನತ ಹುದ್ದೆಗೆ ಭಡ್ತಿ ಹೊಂದಿದ್ದರು. ತಾಯ್ನಾಡಿನ ಸೇವೆಯ ತುಡಿತ ಅವರನ್ನು ಪುನಃ ಭಾರತಕ್ಕೆ ಮರಳುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದು ನಂತರ ವಾಣಿಜ್ಯ ತೆರಿಗೆ ಇಲಾಖೆ, ಪ್ರವಾಸೋದ್ಯಮ ಇಲಾಖೆ,ಪರಿಸರ ಪ್ರವಾಸೋದ್ಯಮ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಮಂಡಳಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಕಾರ್ಮಿಕ ಇಲಾಖೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಉನ್ನತ ಹುದ್ದೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾರ್ಯ ನಿರ್ವಹಿಸಿ ಉತ್ತಮ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಯೆಂದು ಹೆಸರು ಗಳಿಸಿರುತ್ತಾರೆ.ಇವರ ಆಸಾಧಾರಣ ಸೇವೆಯನ್ನು ಗುರುತಿಸಿದ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಇವರನ್ನು ದಿ. 8.4.2021 ರಂದು ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಲೋಕಸೇವಾ ಆಯೋಗದ ಸದಸ್ಯರನ್ನಾಗಿ ನೇಮಿಸಿತು.
ಪಾರದರ್ಶಕತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಚುರುಕುತನಕ್ಕೆ ಹೆಸರುವಾಸಿ :
ಕೆ ಪಿ ಎಸ್ಸಿ ಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾರದರ್ಶಕತೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಅತೀ ವೇಗಕ್ಕೆ ಚಾಲನೆ ನೀಡಿದ ಕೀರ್ತಿ ಇವರದು.ಕೆ ಪಿ ಎಸ್ಸಿ ಯ ಆಮೇಗತಿ ನಡಿಗೆಗೆ ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ಚಾಟಿ ಬೀಸುವ ಇವರು ಅಭ್ಯರ್ಥಿಗಳ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿತ್ವಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಪ್ರಭುದ್ದ ಹಾಗೂ ವಾಸ್ತವಿಕ ಅಂಶಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಅಭ್ಯರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಸಂದರ್ಶನ ನಡೆಸಿದ ಹೆಗ್ಗಳಿಕೆ ಇವರದು. ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಲೋಕಸೇವಾ ಆಯೋಗಕ್ಕೆ ಅಂಟಿರುವ ಕಳಂಕ ತೊಡೆಯಲು ಇತರೇ ಸದಸ್ಯರುಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸೇರಿ ಸಮಗ್ರ ಕಾರ್ಯ ಯೋಜನೆ ರೂಪಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.ನೇಮಕಾತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ಪಾರದರ್ಶಕತೆ, ಯು ಪಿ ಎಸ್ಸಿ ಮಾದರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನೇಮಕಾತಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಅಧಿಸೂಚನೆ ಹೊರಡಿಸಿದ 3 ತಿಂಗಳೊಳಗೆ ನೇಮಕಾತಿ ಪಟ್ಟಿ ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಲಕ್ಷಾಂತರ ಉದ್ಯೋಗ
ಆಕಾಂಕ್ಷಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊಸ ಭರವಸೆಯನ್ನುಬಿತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ತೊಡೆಯುವರೇ ಕೆ ಪಿ ಎಸ್ಸಿ ಗೆ ಅಂಟಿದ ಕಳಂಕ :
ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ಧಕ್ಷ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿರುವ ಕೆ ಪಿ ಎಸ್ಸಿ ಗೆ ಅಂಟಿದ ಕಳಂಕವನ್ನು ತೊಡೆಯುವ ಹಾಗೂ ಕಾಯಕಲ್ಪ ನೀಡುವ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿ ಡಾ ಪ್ರಭುದೇವ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಅವರ ತಂಡದ ಸದಸ್ಯರ ಮೇಲಿದೆ. ಹಾಲಿ ಸದಸ್ಯರುಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ಸಮಗ್ರ ಯೋಜನೆ ರೂಪಿಸಿರುವ ಹಂಗಾಮಿ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರು ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಸಮನ್ವಯದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಶೀಘ್ರ ಹಾಗೂ ಪಾರದರ್ಶಕ ನೇಮಕಾತಿಗೆ ಹೆಜ್ಜೆಯನ್ನಿಡುವ ಭರವಸೆ ದೊರೆತಿದೆ.

Dr. B. Prabhudev was born in Nelamane village of Srirangapatna taluk, Mandya district, to D. Basavegowda and D. Kempamma. His wife, Mrs. Usha, was an employee of a prestigious company in America. Their son, Pradyumna, is working as an attorney in Ketchikan, Alaska, USA. Dr. Prabhudev completed his high school education at Marimallappa High School, Mysore, and obtained his B.E. Mechanical degree from P. E. S. College, Mandya, and his M.B.A. degree from Mysore University and his doctorate from VTU University. He started his career with the prestigious Ford Company in Detroit, America, where he was promoted to a high position after 10 years of service. The desire to serve his homeland made him return to India and later he worked in high positions in the Commercial Tax Department, Tourism Department, Eco-Tourism Development Board and Labour Department and earned a reputation as a good officer. Recognizing his exceptional service, the government appointed him as a member of the Karnataka Public Service Commission on 8.4.2021.
Known for transparency and agility:
He is credited with initiating transparency and speed in KPSC. He is always a champion for the progress of KPSC and is credited with interviewing candidates on the most accurate and realistic aspects in the personality test of candidates. He has formulated a comprehensive action plan with other members to remove the stigma attached to the Karnataka Public Service Commission. He has instilled new hope in lakhs of job aspirants by ensuring complete transparency in recruitment, recruitment on the UPSC model and publishing the recruitment list within 3 months of the notification.
They are the ones who will remove the stigma attached to KPSC:
The big responsibility of removing the stigma attached to KPSC, which already has efficient secretaries, and rejuvenating it lies with Dr. Prabhudev and his team members. The interim president, who has already formulated a comprehensive plan with the current members, has promised to take steps for quick and transparent appointments in coordination with the government.
