ಕೊಪ್ಪಳ, ಮೇ.೧೮: ನಗರ ಮತ್ತು ಗ್ರಾಮೀಣ ಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ತುರ್ತು ಔಷಧಿಗಳು, ರೈತರ ಬಿತ್ತನೆ ಬೀಜ ಹಾಗೂ ರಸಗೊಬ್ಬರಗಳು ಸಿಗದೇ ಹೋದರೂ, ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕಡೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅಕ್ರಮದ ಮದ್ಯ ಸರಬರಾಜುದಾರರು ಮತ್ತು ಮಾರಾಟಗಾರರು ರಾಜಾರೋಷವಾಗಿ ನಾಯಿಕೊಡೆಗಳಂತೆ ಮೊಳಕೆಯೊಡೆದು ಯುವ ಸಮೂಹ, ಕೃಷಿ ಕಾರ್ಮಿಕರು, ದಿನಗೂಲಿಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ವಯೋವೃದ್ಧರ ಬದುಕನ್ನು ನರಕಕ್ಕೆ ತಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದು ಕರವೇ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಬಿ.ಗಿರೀಶಾನಂದ ಜ್ಞಾನಸುಂದರ ಆರೋಪಿಸಿದರು.
ಅವರು ನಗರ ಮತ್ತು ಗ್ರಾಮೀಣ ಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಮದ್ಯವನ್ನು ಅಕ್ರಮವಾಗಿ ರಪ್ತು/ಆಮದು ಮಾಡುವುದು, ಹಾಗೂ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ನಿಯಮವನ್ನು ಗಾಳಿಗೆ ತೂರಿ ಸಿಎಲ್-೨ ವ್ಯಾಪಾರ ಮಳಿಗೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅನಧೀಕೃತವಾಗಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಬೆಲೆಗೆ ಮದ್ಯ ಸರಬರಾಜು ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವ ಅಂಗಡಿ ಮಾಲಕರ ಮೇಲೆ ಕಾನೂನು ಕ್ರಮ ಕೈಗೊಂಡು ಪರವಾನಿಗೆಯನ್ನು ರದ್ದುಪಡಿಸಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಒತ್ತಾಯಿಸಿ ಸೋಮವಾರದಂದು ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಕ್ಷಣಾ ವೇದಿಕೆ ಕೊಪ್ಪಳ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಘಟಕದಿಂದ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳ ಕಛೇರಿಗೆ ಮುತ್ತಿಗೆ ಹಾಕಿ ಪ್ರತಿಭಟಿಸಿ ಅಪರ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾಧಿಕಾರಿ ಸಿದ್ದರಾಮೇಶ್ವರ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಮನವಿ ಪತ್ರ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು.
ಕೊಪ್ಪಳ ವಲಯದ ಅಬಕಾರಿ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷಕರಿಗೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಅಬಕಾರಿ ಉಪ ಆಯುಕ್ತರು ಮನವಿ ಪತ್ರ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ್ದು, ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯಾದ್ಯಂತ ಅಕ್ರಮ ಮದ್ಯ ಮಾರಾಟ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಾಗಾಣಿಕೆ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದು, ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಮತ್ತು ತಾಲೂಕ ಕೇಂದ್ರಸ್ಥಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾರ್ಯನಿರ್ವಹಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ಹಲವು ಸಿಎಲ್-೨ ಸನ್ನದ್ದುದಾರರ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಅಂಗಡಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕೌಂಟರ್‌ನಿAದ ಗ್ರಾಹಕರ ಟೇಬಲ್‌ಗಳಿಗೆ ರಾಜಾರೋಷವಾಗಿ ಮದ್ಯ ಸರಬರಾಜು ಮಾಡಿತ್ತಿರುವುದನ್ನು ಗ್ರಾಹಕರು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿರುವ ಹಲವು ವಿಡಿಯೋ ಸಮೇತವಾಗಿ ವಿವರವಾಗಿ ತೋರಿಸಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಅಬಕಾರಿ ನಿಯಮಗಳು, ೧೯೬೮ರ ನಿಯಮ ೫(೨)ರ ಕಾಯ್ದೆಯನ್ನು ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ಉಲ್ಲಂಘಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದು, ಈ ಅಂಗಡಿಗಳು ಚಿಲ್ಲರೆ ಮಾರಾಟದ ಪರವಾನಿಗಿಯನ್ನು ದುರುಪಯೋಗಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು, ಅಬಕಾರಿ ಶುಲ್ಕವನ್ನು ಪಾವತಿಸದೇ ಕಾನೂನುಬದ್ಧ ಮಾನದಂಡಗಳನ್ನು ಅನುಸರಿಸದೇ ಯಾವುದೇ ಮದ್ಯದ ರೇಟ್ ಬೋರ್ಡ ಹಾಕದೇ ಸಿಎಲ್-೯ ಬಾರ್ ಮತ್ತು ರೆಸ್ಟೋರೆಂಟ್‌ಳAತೆ ಅನಧಿಕೃತವಾಗಿ ವರ್ತಿಸುತ್ತಿವೆ. ಜನವಸತಿ ಪ್ರದೇಶವಿರುವುದರಿಂದ ಮಹಿಳೆಯರಿಗೆ, ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಹಾಗೂ ವಯೋಸಹಜ ಕಾಯಿಲೆ ಹೊಂದಿರುವವರಿಗೆ ಕಿರಿಕಿರಿ ಉಂಟುಮಾಡಿ ಅಶಾಂತಿಯ ವಾತಾವರಣ ಉಂಟಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ ಎಂದರು.
ಕರವೇ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸಂಘಟನಾ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ ಬಸನಗೌಡ ಪೋ.ಪಾಟೀಲ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ ಅಕ್ರಮದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಕ್ರಮ ಕೈಗೊಂಡು ತಪ್ಪಿತಸ್ಥರ ಪರವಾನಿಗೆಯನ್ನು ಅಮಾನ್ಯಗೊಳಿಸಿ ದಂಡ ವಸೂಲಾತಿ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು ಹಾಗೂ ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕ ಸಂಘ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳ ದೂರುಗಳಿಗೆ ಸ್ಪಂದಿಸದ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಶಿಸ್ತುಕ್ರಮ ಕೈಗೊಂಡು ಕೊಪ್ಪಳ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯನ್ನು ಅಕ್ರಮ ಮದ್ಯ ಮುಕ್ತವನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು ಎಂದರು.

Illegal Liquor – Karave  protest
Koppala, May 18: Despite the lack of emergency medicines, seeds and fertilizers in urban and rural areas, illegal liquor suppliers and sellers are sprouting like raging dogs everywhere, making the lives of the youth, agricultural workers, daily wage earners and the elderly a living hell, alleged Karave District President B. Girishananda Gyanasundara.
He demanded that legal action be taken against the shopkeepers who are illegally exporting/importing liquor in urban and rural areas and illegally supplying liquor at high prices in CL-2 shops, flouting government rules, and demanding that their licenses be cancelled.
The Koppal zone excise inspector and the excise deputy commissioner have submitted a petition, stating that illegal sale and transportation of liquor is taking place across the district, and that many CL-2 franchisees operating in the district and taluka headquarters have been supplying liquor to the tables of customers at the counters in a state of rage, along with several videos sent by customers. They have spoken in detail and said that the Karnataka Excise Rules, Rule 5(2) of 1968 are being completely violated. These shops are misusing the retail license, not paying excise duty, not following the legal norms, not putting up any liquor rate boards, and are acting illegally as CL-9 bars and restaurants. Since it is a populated area, it is causing inconvenience to women, children and people with age-related diseases, creating an atmosphere of unrest, he said.
Karave State Organizing Secretary Basanagouda Po. Patil said that action should be taken against the illegality, the licenses of the guilty should be invalidated and fines should be collected, and disciplinary action should be taken against the officials who did not respond to the complaints of public organizations and Koppal district should be made free from illegal liquor. Patil, Manjappa Hallikeri, Anand Kolli, Hanumantha Poojara, Kumaraswamy Nagaralli, Shivu Halageri, Gavisiddappa Ginageri, Gangaiah Chikkamath, Ramesh Poojara, Praveen Kumar, Guru Ginimothi, Basavaraj Mallapur, Sunil Savaj, Vijayalakshim Hugara and many others participated.
