ಅವರು ತಾಲೂಕಿನ ಮುನಿರಾಬಾದ್ ಡ್ಯಾಮ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ಜೈ ಭೀಮ್ ಕಬ್ಬಡ್ಡಿ ಟ್ರೋಫಿ ಮುನಿರಾಬಾದ್ ಡ್ಯಾಮ್ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಮಟ್ಟದ ಹೊನ್ನಲು ಬೆಳಕಿನ ಪಂದ್ಯಾವಳಿ ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ ಕ್ರೀಡಾಪಟುಗಳು ಸೋಲು- ಗೆಲುವನ್ನು ಸಮಾನವಾಗಿ ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸಿ, ಕ್ರೀಡಾಪಟುಗಳು ಕ್ರೀಡಾ ಮನೋಭಾವ ಮೆರೆಯಬೇಕು, ಕ್ರೀಡೆಯಿಂದ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ದೈಹಿಕ ಸಾಮರ್ಥ್ಯ ಹೆಚ್ಚುತ್ತದೆ, ಗ್ರಾಮೀಣಮಟ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಬ್ಬಡ್ಡಿ ಕ್ರೀಡೆಯು ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ವೃದ್ಧಿಸುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂದರು.
ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೊಪ್ಪಳ ತಾಲೂಕು ಗ್ಯಾರಂಟಿ ಯೋಜನೆ ಪ್ರಾಧಿಕಾರದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಟಿ.ಬಾಲಚಂದ್ರನ್, ಹಿರಿಯ ಮುಖಂಡರು, ಕಬ್ಬಡ್ಡಿ ಟೂರ್ನಮೆಂಟ್ ಪದಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು, ಕಬ್ಬಡ್ಡಿ ಕ್ರೀಡಾಪಟುಗಳು ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು.

said that athletes should have sportsmanship.
He spoke while inaugurating the Jai Bhim Kabaddi Trophy Munirabad Dam District Level Honnalu Loyalty Tournament at Munirabad Dam in the taluk and said that athletes should accept defeat and victory equally and should display sportsmanship. Sports increase mental and physical strength, and kabaddi at the rural level improves health.
Koppal Taluk Guarantee Scheme Authority President T. Balachandran, senior leaders, kabaddi tournament office bearers and kabaddi athletes were present on the occasion.
