ಸಂಸ್ಕಾರಯುತ ಬದುಕಿಗೆ ಕಲಿಕೆ ಅಗತ್ಯ: ರಘುಪ್ರೇಮಾಚಾರ್

ಕೊಪ್ಪಳ: ‘ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಉತ್ತಮವಾಗಿ ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಸ್ಕಾರಯುತವಾಗಿ ಭವಿಷ್ಯ ಕಟ್ಟಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಧಾರ್ಮಿಕ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಮತ್ತು ಅವುಗಳ ಆಚರಣೆಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದು ಅಗತ್ಯ’ ಎಂದು ಇಲ್ಲಿನ ರಾಘವೇಂದ್ರ ಸ್ವಾಮಿಗಳ ಮಠದ ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಅರ್ಚಕ ರಘುಪ್ರೇಮಾಚಾರ್ ಮುಳಗುಂದ ಹೇಳಿದರು.

ನಗರದ ಸಮಾನ ಮನಸ್ಕ ಬ್ರಾಹ್ಮಣ ಸ್ನೇಹಿತರು ಸೇರಿ ವಿಠ್ಠಲ ಕೃಷ್ಣ ವಾಣಿಜ್ಯ ಸಂಕೀರ್ಣ ಹಿಂಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಮ್ಮಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವ ವಸಂತ ಧಾರ್ಮಿಕ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಶಿಬಿರವನ್ನು ಮಂಗಳವಾರ ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಅವರು ‘ಶಿಬಿರ ಆಯೋಜನೆ ಸಂಪ್ರದಾಯ ಉತ್ತಮವಾದದ್ದು, ಇದು ಹಿಂದಿನಿಂದಲೂ ನಡೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದಿದೆ. ಮಕ್ಕಳಲ್ಲಿ ಧರ್ಮದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಜಾಗೃತಿ ಮೂಡಿಸಲು ಅನುಕೂಲವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಸಂಧ್ಯಾವಂದನೆ ಮಾಡದ ದೊಡ್ಡವರು ಕೂಡ ಶ್ಲೋಕಗಳನ್ನು ಕಲಿತುಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು’ ಎಂದು ಸಲಹೆ ನೀಡಿದರು.

ಶಿಬಿರ ನಡೆಸಿಕೊಡಲು ಬಂದಿರುವ ಉಡುಪಿಯ ಯದುನಂದನ ಅಚಾರ್ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ ‘ಕೊಪ್ಪಳದಲ್ಲಿ‌ ಮೊದಲ ಬಾರಿಗೆ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಆಯೋಜಿಸಿದ್ದು ಖುಷಿ ನೀಡಿದೆ. ಯಾವುದೇ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಮಾಡಿದರೂ ಮೊದಲು ದೀಪ ಬೆಳಗಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಇದು ಜ್ಞಾನದ ಪ್ರತೀಕವಾಗಿದೆ. ಚಿಕ್ಕವಯಸ್ಸಿನಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಾಗಲೇ ಕಲಿಸಿದರೆ ಮಕ್ಕಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಸ್ಕಾರ ಬೆಳೆಯುತ್ತದೆ’ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.

ಅರ್ಚಕ ಗೋವಿಂದಾಚಾರ್ ಬಾದರ್ಲಿ, ಅಖಿಲ ಭಾರತ ಬ್ರಾಹ್ಮಣ ಮಹಾಸಭಾದ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಚುನಾಯಿತ ಪ್ರತಿನಿಧಿ ಗುರುರಾಜ ಎನ್‌. ಜೋಶಿ, ರಾಜ್ಯ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಕಾರ್ಯಕಾರಿಣಿ ಸದಸ್ಯ ಎಚ್‌.ಬಿ. ದೇಶಪಾಂಡೆ, ಸಮಾಜದ ಮುಖಂಡರಾದ ವೇಣುಗೋಪಾಲ ಜಹಗೀರದಾರ್, ರಮೇಶ ಜಹಗೀರದಾರ್‌ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಅನೇಕರು ಪಾಲ್ಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದರು.

Education is essential for a cultured life: Raghupremachar

Koppala: ‘It is necessary for children to know about religious education and its practices so that they can build a good and cultured future,’ said Raghupremachar Mulagunda, the chief priest of Raghavendra Swamygala Mutt here.

Speaking after inaugurating the Vasantha Religious Education Camp organized by like-minded Brahmin friends of the city at the back of the Vitthala Krishna Commercial Complex on Tuesday, he said, ‘The tradition of organizing camps is good, it has been going on since time immemorial. It helps in creating awareness about religion among children. Even adults who do not perform Sandhyavandana should learn the shlokas,’ he advised.

Speaking, Yadunandana Achar of Udupi, who has come to conduct the camp, said, ‘I am happy to have organized the program for the first time in Koppala. Before any program, a lamp is lit. This is a symbol of knowledge. If taught at a young age, culture develops in children.’
