On the occasion of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar’s birth anniversary, the Preamble to the Constitution of India carved in stone in the courtyard of the Koppal District Administration Building was unveiled by MP Rajashekar Hitnal and MLA Hemalatha Nayak on April 14.
In the morning, after paying floral tributes to the statue of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar at the Shivshanthaveera Nagar garden, MPs, MLAs, District Collector Dr. Suresh B. Itnal, District Superintendent of Police Dr. Ram L. Arasiddi, and Zilla Panchayat CEO Varnit Negi paid tribute by offering floral tributes to the Preamble to the Constitution of India carved in stone.
On this occasion, Additional District Commissioner Sidrameshwar, Assistant Commissioner Captain Mahesh Malagitti, Zilla Panchayat Deputy Secretary Krishnamurthy T., Municipal Commissioner Venkatesh Naganoor, Deputy Director of Social Welfare Department Ajjappa Sogalada, Tehsildar Basavaraj Thannalli, TAPAM EO Dundappa Turadi, Backward Classes Welfare Department Officer Nagaratna, Deputy Director of Pre-University Education Department Jagadish, Information Officer Gavisiddappa and other department officials and Valavadi Community President Siddarama Hosamani, community leaders Nagaraj Bellada, Gavisiddappa Bellada, Shanthakumar, Siddu Mageri, Ajay Doddamani, Manjunath Doddamani, Muthu Kushtagi, Prabhu Bellada, Satish Bannikoppa, Mahantesh Chakri and many others were present.
